Examination tables with 2-piece tabletop for obese patients
The 2-section examination tables with higher load-bearing capacity, which are indispensable in every doctor's practice, clinic and medical care centre, have been manufactured with larger tubular steel profile dimensions with thicker walls. Additional cross-bracing welded into the upholstery frame gives the examination tables the necessary stability and safety. For these reasons, these examination tables, which are particularly suitable for obese patients, can bear a load of 300 kg.
The examination tables for bariatric patients from AGA Sanitätsartikel are available in two lengths: 1,900 mm or 2,000 mm.
Features
The 2-section examination tables, which can bear loads of up to 300 kg, are impressive in terms of their stability, functionality and safety.
- They are available in a width of 800 mm.
- The stability and robustness is achieved by the gusset plates in the frame corners as well as the cross bracing between the table legs. In addition, larger tubular steel profiles with thicker walls were used and further cross-bracing was welded into the upholstered frame.
- The tubular steel frames are made of lacquered blank steel.
- The table legs are fitted with floor protectors (impact caps).
- The two upholstery segments (headrest and main surface) each have a thickness of 64 mm.
- The examination tables for heavier patients are available in a table height of 650 mm.
- They are available in two lengths: 1,900 mm and 2,000 mm.
- The headrest can be continuously adjusted up to +40°. It is locked in place by a handle with a clamping rod mechanism.
- The scope of delivery of the examination tables for heavier patients includes a paper roll holder bar. This is inserted between the table legs at the foot end.

The standard configuration includes:
- Table legs with floor protectors (impact caps).
- A paper roll holder bar between the table legs at the foot end, for 590 mm wide paper rolls.
We offer the coloured lacquer coating of the frames as standard in the following three shades (see frame colour selection card):
- light grey (RAL 7035)
- white aluminum (RAL 9006)
- pure white (RAL 9010).
The high quality finish has a glossy look. It is disinfectant resistant and easy to clean.
Other colours are of course also available. Please let us know the desired RAL colour so that we can find out the corresponding additional costs. Please note, however, that these products are then considered type variants with no right of return.
The artificial leather covers we use are characterized by their tear resistance, durability, longevity and their good cleaning properties as well as their resistance to disinfectants.
We use a (colour) selection from the synthetic leather covers VOWAled Pisa (Vowalon). The colour selection card can be found here.
In addition, we offer you the service of manufacturing the upholstery in other colours or from other synthetic leather manufacturers (type variant). After prior agreement, please send us the relevant references.
The black electrically conductive synthetic leather cover (with equipotential bonding socket on the frame) is available at an additional cost. It is already included in the price of the operating tables and multifunction tables.
