AGA-GYN-MED and AGA-GYN-PERMO Examination chairs for gynaecology
The AGA-GYN-MED and AGA-GYN-PERMO gynaecology chairs are also durable and easy to use examination chairs. Due to the raised seating position, no additional height adjustment is required.

The gynaecology chairs AGA-GYN-MED, Article No.: GU-1058/E, and AGA-GYN-PERMO, Article No.: GU-1062/G, from AGA Sanitätsartikel have been specially developed for gynaecology.
The seat section adjustments of the:
AGA-GYN-MED, Article No.: GU-1058/E, via an electric motor,
AGA-GYN-PERMO, Article No.: GU-1062/G, via a gas pressure spring.
and offer an optimally adjustable working height for every user. The seat cushions are easy to reach thanks to a footrest that is fixed to the floor frame and can be folded away. This type of construction results in an extremely competitive product price.
The upholstery on the backrest and seat ensures a very high level of comfort. A cutout is incorporated into the seat cushion.
Thanks to the integration of a foam wedge in the back section of the AGA-GYN-MED, there is no need for an additional neck roll. The neck roll is included with the AGA-GYN-PERMO.
Features
- The seat cushions are easy to reach via a foot step mounted on the floor frame. The tread of the footrest is made of polyethylene and has an anti-slip surface. The footrest can simply be folded back towards the column so that it does not interfere with examinations.
- The seat section is adjustable on the:
- AGA-GYN-MED, Article No.: GU-1058/E, using an electric motor,
- AGA-GYN-PERMO, Article No.: GU-1062/G, by gas pressure spring.
- The back section can be adjusted using a gas pressure spring on the:
- AGA-GYN-MED, Article No.: GU-1058/E, up to + 54°,
- AGA-GYN-PERMO, Article No.: GU-1062/G, up to + 63°.
- With the help of the seat elevation and the adjustable back section, a Trendelenburg position can be achieved with the:
- AGA-GYN-MED, Article No.: GU-1058/E, of 30°,
- AGA-GYN-PERMO, Article No.: GU-1062/G, from 35°.
- The maintenance-free and extremely quiet electric drive used in the AGA-GYN-MED is controlled by a foot switch (alternatively - at no extra charge - by hand switch). The adjustment system is equipped with a key lock. Motor connection values (each): 230V, 50/60 Hz, 3.7A, 850W, IPX4, v=11mm/s, 10,000N.
- The floor frame, which is fitted with levelling feet, ensures a secure stand.
- The impact- and scratch-resistant covers of the column and base frame, like all other components, are easy to clean and keep hygienically clean.
- By using different, coordinated foam densities, the upholstery provides a very high level of seating comfort.
- There is a cutout in the seat cushion.
- A pair of standard rails, made of stainless steel, dimensions 25 x 10 mm, length 350 mm, are attached to the side of the seat section to accommodate leg support systems.
- The holder of the stainless steel tray included in the scope of delivery, dimensions 300 x 200 x 65 mm (L x W x H), is fixed to the upper cover. To the right and left of it are three Allen screws for attaching a colposcope holder.
- An earthed socket is integrated into the back of the AGA-GYN-MED column, e.g. for connecting a colposcope.

The standard version includes:
- A pair of standard rails attached to the side of the seat.
- Supports (right / left side) for a colposcope holder.
- A cutout in the seat cushion.
- A stainless steel tray with holder.
- A paper roll holder attached to the back section.
- Floor frame with levelling feet.
- A fold-away footrest.
- A neck roll with belt strap (on the AGA-GYN-PERMO).
- An earthed socket on the back of the column (on the AGA-GYN-MED).
- The foot switch (on the AGA-GYN-MED).
We offer the coloured lacquer coating of the frames as standard in the following three shades (see frame colour selection card):
- light grey (RAL 7035)
- white aluminum (RAL 9006)
- pure white (RAL 9010).
The high quality finish has a glossy look. It is disinfectant resistant and easy to clean.
Other colours are of course also available. Please let us know the desired RAL colour so that we can find out the corresponding additional costs. Please note, however, that these products are then considered type variants with no right of return.
The artificial leather covers we use are characterized by their tear resistance, durability, longevity and their good cleaning properties as well as their resistance to disinfectants.
We use a (colour) selection from the synthetic leather covers VOWAled Pisa (Vowalon). The colour selection card can be found here.
In addition, we offer you the service of manufacturing the upholstery in other colours or from other synthetic leather manufacturers (type variant). After prior agreement, please send us the relevant references.
The black electrically conductive synthetic leather cover (with equipotential bonding socket on the frame) is available at an additional cost. It is already included in the price of the operating tables and multifunction tables.
