AGA Sanitätsartikel GmbH is very pleased with the positive trend at the world leading trade fair MEDICA 2016 in Düsseldorf. The business is increasingly developing internationally - important trading partners from abroad could be gained during the show. The company looks very confident into the future and is already planning for the coming year.
The over 80sqm booth of the specialists for individual medical furniture from the Westphalian town of Löhne experienced once again a steady flow of visitors in Hall 13. The focus of this year's fair was placed on AGA MRI tables and accessories, and the event was a success in this regard, with high interest from professionals. At the same time, there is a clear shift in the breakdown of visitors to the ‘World Forum for Medicine’.
Significant shift in the visitor structure
"A lot more visitors than before come from abroad, and at the same time the share of the audience from Germany is reduced", says Sales Manager Jörg Spannuth. "This makes the Düsseldorf trade fair more and more an international hub and very attractive for our customers from abroad. A large part of the German prospective customers are now visiting us at our home location or contacting us directly with specific needs. Besides, almost all customers use our online offer to retrieve comprehensive preliminary information and come to us already well-informed on the products of interest to them.During Medica, we welcomed numerous existing customers/distributors as well as potential clients from abroad. Spain, Italy, Eastern Europe and the Middle East were particularly strongly represented this year - here we are looking forward to new projects, in addition to some new trade partners," he continues.
Tilt tables as well as examination table and chairs raise the most interest
While a clear trend towards products for the adipose patient has been recorded in recent years, this year's business was indeed focused on the MRI segment. Besides, according to Jörg Spannuth, future business will also be very much about the product groups tilt tables as well as universal tables and examination chairs.
