Data Privacy Statement

It is an important concern of ours to protect your data, which can be collected during your visit at agasan.com. You can visit our website at any time without giving any personal information. Your personal information is collected only when you want to take advantage of special services (e.g. inquiries via our contact form, participate in a contest, etc.). 1 - Collection and processing of data

Each access to our homepage and each download of a file on our website are logged. The storage of this information serves internal system-related and statistical purposes. What’s recorded: name of the file (page) visited, date and time of access, data volume transferred, notification of successful download, web browser and requesting domain. Additionally, the IP addresses of the computers are logged and stored for a maximum period of 30 days. A link between the system's IP address and any other data that would allow drawing conclusions about the user is not recorded. Please refer to our separate instructions for using the software Google Analytics in point 1b of this statement.

a - Use of cookies

The website uses so-called ‘cookies’, but only to save the user's chosen language of the page. The cookies we use, called persistent cookies remain on your computer for up to 30 days and allow the recognition of your computer at your next visit to give you your language of choice directly. A cookie is a data file generated by your web server that is sent to the web browser you are using, and stored in a cookie file on the local machine. Cookies on your computer do no harm and do not contain viruses. You can prevent your web browser from accepting cookies. But this can adversely affect the functionality of our site. Our partner companies are not allowed to collect, process or use personal data on our website using cookies. Additional personal data is only collected if you provide this information voluntarily, e.g. as part of a request, order or registration.

b - Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies", text files that are stored on your computer, to analyze the use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this site are usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. In the case of activation of the IP anonymization on this website, your IP-address from Google will be shortened beforehand within Member States of the European Union or other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address sent to a Google server in the USA to be shortened. Google will use this information on behalf of the site owner to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity and to provide other use of the website and internet related services with respect to the website owner. Your browser IP address provided as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other data from Google. You may decline the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser. c - Facebook

Our website uses social plugins (“plugins”) provided by the social network facebook.com, operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”). The plugins are identifiable by a Facebook logo (white letter f on blue background or a thumb up icon) or the notice “Facebook Social Plugin”. When you visit a page of our website that contains a social plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection to Facebook servers. Facebook directly transfers the plugin content to your browser which embeds the latter into the website, enabling Facebook to receive information about your having accessed the respective page of our website. 

Thus we have no influence on the data gathered by the plugin and inform you according to our state of knowledge: The embedded plugins provide Facebook with the information that you have accessed the corresponding page of our website. If you are logged into Facebook, your visit can be assigned to your Facebook account. 2 - Use and disclosure of personal data

Insofar as you have provided us with personal data, we use it only to respond to your inquiries, to process contracts concluded with you and for technical administration. Your personal information will be divulged to third parties or otherwise transferred if this is necessary for the contract (in particular the transfer of order data to suppliers), required for billing purposes or if you have previously agreed. You have the right to revoke your consent with future effect at any time, see item 3.

3 - Information and deletion

If we store your personal data, you can always ask for free information about this and if we are not legally obliged to store, request the deletion. The deletion of stored personal data is done if you withdraw your consent to its storage, if the storage is no longer necessary in order to fulfill the original purpose or if the storage is prohibited for other legal reasons.

We strive to protect your personal data by taking all technical and organizational steps so that they are not accessible to third parties. When communicating by e-mail, the complete data security cannot be guaranteed, so we recommend sending confidential information by post.
