The Sonography
Table under article no. SO-1065 and depicted in fig. 1 is manufactured
with a two-piece upholstered torso- and leg section where all
adjustments are performed by hand operated gas-spring mechanisms and
then locked into position.
However, appropriate patient positioning must be acquired and set
before actual treatment can commence. Apart from its apparent lack of
a headrest, the SO-1065 sonography table has the same adjustment range
as the SO-ZK1065/EE described in detail below.
The Sonography
Table under article no. SO-ZK1065/EE and depicted in fig. 2 is
manufactured with a three-piece upholstered torso- headrest and leg
section. The torso and leg sections are equipped with dual,
maintenance free, water resistant, smooth-running motors for stepless
adjustability controlled by pneumatic foot-operated switches enabling
the medical practitioner to attain ideal patient positioning before
actual treatment commences. Additionally, the gas spring operated
headrest is stepless adjustable backward to 30° negative for the
purpose of thyroid sonography.
Since both the torso and leg sections are individually adjustable,
medical practitioners are able to position their patients from an
initial arched posture into either the Trendelenburg or the Anti-Trendelenburg
position as well as into a horizontal lying position.
